Description
3 Bedroom, 3 and a half bathrooms, Sleeps 6. Situated on a very private acre, this home captures the best of Tucson living, traditional Southwest architecture completely remodeled and updated in a most contemporary style. The most compelling feature is the mountain and desert garden views from every room in the home. The many beautiful cactus specimens result in guests feeling like they are staying in a private Southwest botanical garden. Soaring ceilings in the Great Room and Master Bedroom allow for casual indoor-outdoor living or sophisticated entertaining. The interior features three bedrooms, all with ensuite baths. The Master bedroom has an adjustable Sleep Number King bed and a private adjoining patio. The second bedroom has a Queen Bed with a courtyard view. The third bedroom has a comfortable sleeper sofa. There is also a powder room bringing the bathroom count to 3 full baths and one half bath. Several exterior locations allow for pleasant outdoor seating and dining. The media room boasts a 78 inch Sony OLED TV with Netflix, Apple TV, HBO, cable etc. and comfortable seating including two recliners. The Kitchen will delight the chef in the family with double ovens, Induction stovetop, Advantium microwave oven, two dishwashers, beverage drawer, wine refrigerator, 48 inch side by side fridge and freezer, and a fully stocked pantry with everything one needs to prepare a gourmet meal. Enjoy morning coffee on the south patio overlooking the garden or climb exterior stairs to the rooftop deck for sunset cocktails with 360 degree views of the city and surrounding Tucson mountain ranges and dine on the north patio with stunning garden views in the foreground and towering Catalina Mountains as your backdrop. High above Tucson, our home is nestled at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains and surrounded by the natural beauty of lush desert, stately mesquite trees and majestic, towering saguaro cactus. Tucson boasts a delightfully high desert climate with summers of dry heat, comfortable winter days and year round cool evenings. Tucson is a growing metropolis of one million people but maintains a wonderful, small town feel. The citys geography is a postcard image of cactus forests, rolling hills, and rocky mountains. National and State parks and forests ring the city. Tucson lies in the borderland, a region that blends the cultures of the United States and Mexico and has a long history of settlement by ancient Native American peoples, Spanish explorers, and Anglo frontiersmen. The weather is mild nearly all the time. Though our summers can be quite hot, the air is dry and evening temperatures are always pleasant. There are limitless ways to enjoy your stay in the Tucson area. Upscale shopping and dining, world famous attractions like the Sonoran Desert Museum, Canyon Ranch and Miraval Life in Balance Resort and Spa, San Xavier Mission, Old Tucson Western Movie Studios, Davis Monthan boneyard with over 250 World War II aircraft, Kartchner Caverans or the renowned International Gem and Mineral Show in February which is incredible! Tucson is a premier destination for golfers whether they are hoping to take their best shot on a challenging desert resort golf course or seeking a more traditional links style course. Hike one of Tucsons many beautiful mountain trails, including Finger Rock Trail, and the beautiful Sabino Canyon which are both 10 minutes away and the bird watching in the area is world renowned. The Old Pueblo is known as cyclist friendly (both road and mountain biking) and hosts several annual bicycle tours. It is just a short drive to casinos, fine dining, shopping, art galleries, museums, Reid Park Zoo, performing arts and live college and professional sports. Please note that the owners dog lives in this home but will not be present during your stay. Their dog is considered a hypoallergenic breed but this home may not be appropriate for severe allergy sufferers.
